This unit will allow you to gain knowledge of the anatomical structure and the physiological function of the body systems; integumentary, skeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, nervous, respiratory and digestive systems. You will also investigate aspects of dermatology, microbiology and trichology related to this topic.

This course is designed to meet the criteria for the VTCT Level 3 Award in Anatomical and Physiological Knowledge of Body Systems. If you have selected tho purchase the VTCT accredited course, you will be expected to contact us when you have completed each unit to book your exam. You will need to attend one of our approved centres for this.

How is this course structured?

Online theory course

• Lectures: Each section is broken down into information and then a quiz.
• Quiz: You will need to answer 100% of these questions correctly before moving onto the next section
• Completion: Upon completion of this course, you will be sent a pdf certificate, or invited to attend the centre to undertake an online examination to achieve your VTCT qualification

What can I do with my qualification?

• Many people use their qualification for personal learning or interest, or to top up on previous knowledge. You will be issued a certificate to show that you have completed the course, and you use this towards CPD or other personal progression.
• If you have selected the VTCT approved course, upon completing your examination, you will be issed an Ofqual regulated certificate which can be used to progress you onto advanced beauty treatments at level 3 and 4, or into aesthetic treatments.
